Kruk's body as resembing mashed potatoes. I agree though its either the shortstop or catcher, those were two positions I could never play, I didnt have the diving skills for shortstop and the range either. Catching was near impossible for me the day I tried in practice not only because I am a lefty but because its scary back there.

that and the fact I am built like a fullback wouldn't help matters. The post today had an article about hefty pitchers and I laughed since thats probably what I would have became if I stayed, I was a nasty pitcher though, I didn't have curves like some of hte kids did but I could throw sidearm. By the way you want to hear a funny baseball story since it involves a player on your twins. Do you remember Steve Lombodorzzi from the 87 twins. Ok so his nephew is a year younger than me and his dad was my and his baseball coach one year, his pa promised to let me pitch and he didn't so my mom and I kinda resetned that. The next spring or so I finally got to pitch full time and did well and got to the all star game. So I have the fortune of facing this dude at the game and I strike him out. A couple of weeks ago the sports page featured him.

I forget why I got put in for pitching in the first place honestly I think it was because they liked my sidearm delivery then during that spring when I made the all star team I was forced to convert to overhand. If I could do it all over again, I would have converted to overhand but would have kept the sidearm pitch as a full count pitch. Sigh I wish I could be in the Orioles farm system like Brandon Snyder is, he went to my rival high school and I believe is the kid of a guy whose baseball camp I went to. He was their first round pick last summer, I envy him for good reasons but Westfield sucks ass :D. I was a closer by the way when I pitched at my best. I loved it, my best apperance ever was in long relief during a playoff game, came in while we were down and only allowed one of the previous pitchers runs to score and shut out hte team the rest of hte way. We won though we lost to the Braves in the game that would have got us to the finals. I never won a baseball championship now basketball was another story, I was successful and I believe my last team was a summer team in which I played with one of my friends from elementary school and I got like 20 points in the town championship, sure showed the kid who thought he was big with the sunglasses up.
