I watched part of a baseball game this weekend

After sixteen hours they had gotten to the top of the fourth, and I hanged myself in the garage to escape the boredom. The cheap, Wal*Mart-bought rope snapped, and I collapsed to the floor, only to awaken with a headache ten hours later.

I went back into the living room and switched on the tv, and I found that they'd gotten to the bottom of the sixth.

Which game was this, you ask? It's every game.


Baseball is excruciatingly boring, but at least it's slow.

Because the average length of a major league baseball game is two hours, 50 minutes.

Which is about the same amount of time it takes to play the last two minutes of an NFL game.
