7. the details.

It was Brett(my date), Anna(my friend), Matt(Anna's boyfriend), and I. Brett is a friend of Matt's and he asked if we could go on a double date. ok, we left the house and went to the college campus. we decide to go see what's playing at the theater. Matt, Anna, and I wanted to see "V for Vendetta" but Brett wouldn't see it. So we finally decide on a stupid movie called "She's the Man." Finally we get out of the RETARDED movie and we decide to go get something to eat. We go to a pizza place and during dinner we all talk. Brett was a complete idiot trying to "show out" in front of me and was a complete jerk to Anna. We start to leave the resturant and Brett runs into some people he knows. I guess he was trying to look "cool" but he was a complete idiot, and tried to act like he could control me by telling me what to do in front of his friends. Then we were sitting at the table and he tried to kiss me. EWW! This guy is a complete jerk all night and he thinks he can just randomly kiss me? NO. Anyways, Anna, Matt, and I ended up leaving the jerk at the resturant and told him to get a ride home with his friends.

15. Ava, chances are he is a jerk

but... on the other hand, my wife and I met, gawd, twenty four years
ago. I was working in a hardware store and I will never forget ...she
came walking up the street with a friend of hers and it started raining.
I was out side trying to get a street sandwich board sign in out of the
rain and I saw her and her friend duck under the awning of the store.
I can still see it in my minds eye clearly. She was so beautiful and
full of life.

She is an artist and later I saw her come in the store to buy mineral
spirits and stuff for her painting. So I got her number off a check
she wrote and called her for a date. (I know...today I'd probably be
arrested but this was like, '83.) Anyway, She agreed to the date.
It was a horrible date. Probably because I liked her so much I was
acting like a total ass. Her comment to her roomate when asked
"How was your date"...my wife said "he's an asshole"

But, then, I was never a republican either!!!!

24. Well, let me tell you...

what happened next in my story was that I called up my wife
and asked her for another date. "No way".

Finally, I saw her, she came into the store again and I asked her
for another date.."are you doing anything this friday?" She said
yeah..she was going to a lecture at the museum with some friends...
I said "can I come"? Now, that was being a rude, jerk boor but
I really really wanted to see her again.

SO....she says "I guess". It turns out this was a date one of her
girl friends had set up with a guy named Wes. Girlfriend 'can't come'
at the last minute so the plan was that G (my wife) and Wes would
be 'together' etc., (you know...matchmaking) but DAMN here I was...
(talk about third wheel!)

Anyway..so I am there, so is G, and there's Wes... He's a totally
nice, good looking guy but I start watching what's happening and
he is totally messing up. He is talking too much and saying the
wrong things. (not bad things just...wrong) so I figure... don't
say anything and let this guy hang himself...

The rest is history.

(and we have a four year old daughter to prove it!)

with competitions and performances it was taking up way too much time. i still like to dance, but now i just do it by myself. :P

when i was still in public school. that's when i made my final decision about dancing, lol. i didn't like the crowd i had to hang out around. it was fun, but not something that i was really interested in. like i said, i still dance some. i like to practice some of my old ballet moves every now and then, but i don't think i'll go back to being a dancer.
