What CD Are you listening to right now?
or what is the most recent CD you listened to?

I'm listening to a CD that I made with some mixes by DJ Rankin, DJ Obscene, and DJ Pulse.

1. "Storm Hymnal" by Grant Lee Buffalo
one of the most underrated 90s groups, IMHO. Been grooving on "Bethlehem Steel" for the last two days.

9. John Gorka -- "Between Five and Seven"
Songs: "Lighting's Blues", "Can't Make Up My Mind", "My Invisible Gun" are favorites.

Another good CD by Gorka is "Land of the Bottom Line".

11. Katherine Schell - Emptier Streets
Finally came today. VERY pretty music. Has the Fiona/Tori piano and bass thing going on, but she's poppier while being just as substantive. Definitely better than Fiona IMO and matches Tori's best. Wonderful stuff!

Shaye - The Bridge. Terrific group from Canada. It's worth the price of the import, but I got it on iTunes.

Heard a few songs from Ana Johnsson's Way I Am (the few that are available legally.) I must say that I was underwhelmed. I thought I'd like her based on my taste, but looks like I'll skip this CD.

Bill Frisell is the hombre. You haven't by chance heard his collaboration with Vernon Reid (Living Colour), have you? I've not heard it yet, but I'm extremely curious about it.
