I was checking in on the freeps and found this in the Pray for W thread.
WOW....JUST WOW....
Dear Heavenly Father, during this Holy Week, we remember the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, and are reminded that He suffered for us willingly, knowing what was to take place. Very God of Very Gods gave up His life for our sins. Father, we are humbled in knowing the depth of love You had for us to send Your Son to die for us, while we were yet sinners. Lord, we beg Your forgiveness for our sins and confess that we have failed and need the cleansing of Your blood for the remission of our sins. Father, we bring before You, President Bush, asking that You place a blanket of protection over him, and his family. We are aware of the intense hatred for him, and we know that the hatred is borne of the knowledge that he is Your child, and that he is living for You. We understand that we are involved in a ferocious spiritual battle for the soul of this nation, and we are aware that by his faith, he is leading us in it. We pray that he would be steadfast in Your word and in prayer, and that he would be disciplined and balanced, and humbled by the knowledge that he is a sinner saved by grace, who has been chosen to do great things for Your Kingdom. We ask that You grant the President and Laura and their entire family a blessed Easter as they gather together at Camp David to celebrate Your glorious Resurrection.
We pray as well, dear Lord, for our brave troops as they continue this battle against terror. We know that the enemy is evil and ruthless, and that the danger is great, but we also know that You are in this battle, dear Lord, and that, through Your might, we will prevail. Bless each member of our military and protect them, and give comfort and peace to their families at home. Be with those who have been wounded, and heal them, body and soul, bless our vets, and help them to adjust to lives at home that may be very different than those they left when they were deployed, and be a special comfort to the families of those who have fallen, and bring them peace.
Father, we pray for this nation, and for our leaders, asking You with great fervency, that they would have the strength to do what is necessary to stop the flood of illegal immigrants into this country. Lord grant them wisdom and discernment, and the strength of character to do the right thing to uphold the laws of this land. Be with each member of Congress, of the President's cabinet, and our state and local leaders and do a mighty work in them. We thank You for the great privilege of bringing our requests before You, and thank You in advance for the answers to our prayers. We know that You are faithful, and for that, we give You thanks. In the Name of Jesus, the Paschal Lamb, we pray, Amen!
