Crazy sports stat of the day
Bronson Arroyo, a pitcher has more home runs than Willy Mo Pena, an outfielder. Pretty wild.

2. Meanwhile Pena is 1-5 with a double
I'd like to see Arroyo be a success in the NL from what I hear he got treated badly by their front office in Boston. Their loss.

3. He has as many homers as the whole starting Red Sox outfield.

4. hahahhahaha
that outfield includes Manny Ramirez and Trot Nixon. Oh money can't buy me love. He's 2-0 with a sub 2 ERA too. There was a picture of him in today's Washington Post smiling, hell I'd be happy if I were a career below 100 hitter and I switched leagues and got two wins and two home runs in my first two games.

5. Trot and Wily Mo are platooning. How stupid are the Sox for trading for
an OF they are platooning? Oh, and Coco Crisp is on the DL. At least they're pitching well without Arroyo.

6. I shouldnt be laughing I guess they are after all in first
Yeah I think its stupid to trade a starter for an outfielder than platoon.

7. 5-1
they are 5-1 though

and they had no room for him in the rotation. (though I liked him and wish they had kept him)

and Pena is only platooning with Nixon when it is a lefty starter. They have always done this with Nixon.

Coco Crisp is on the DL for a short while and has done really well so far anyways. He actually signed a 3 year contract today.

Go Sox

8. Yep 156 games to go and to be fair you guys got a better chance
than we do but I like that the guy is suceeding on a new team. I think that trade could work out for both you guys and the Reds in the long run.

9. Willy Mo had a Homer last night
He dropped a fly over the fence resulting in a homer (for the other team)
