5,000 miles is nothing to me...it's really weird---

Nothing, nothing better than hotel coffee at 6:00AM....walking outside and realizing that it's a new day, new scenery, new adventures.

not so sadly it is to go to Norway with my mother, while she is still able to travel easily. (Her parents immigrated from Norway - so through her we still have some tight links - I want to build on those so they don't just die out.) 62. I have intended to take the trip each year for the past decade

but never could find the time. This year I realize that time may be running out. Haven't been since I was a kid - watching news about the US elections - in the Carter/Ford election... the trip is *that* long overdue. :D

I do think that a trip to get us altogether - maybe sometime in the fall? wooudl be more than the cats meow, better than the best sliced bread, and nearly as valuable (or as valuable) as a trip to the moon!
