I was EXTREMELY shy when I was younger (I wouldn't talk) but something just sort of changed in me once I hit 22...my shy switch turned off (sort of). Now, the older I get the less shy I become and it feels weird and wonderfully liberating all at the same time.

The odd thing about my shy years is that people have admitted to me that they assumed I was just a cold bitch. Turns out they read my shyness all wrong because I was scared, not uppity. Had I known that when I was younger, life would have been much easier for me.
