I think you're right btw, that the Grotto was not usually that bad. Lots of innuendo and allusion to what happened in the Dungeon but nothing too specific. Bus and I took great pride I think is bein naughty while being vague enough not to piss Skinner off.

Anyway, my theory. I blame myself and short bus for the sex threads getting out of hand. And before he starts whining hear me out. We started the Grotto and got the ball rolling and then stopped opening it up most nights. We got everyone all het up and then pulled the rug out from under them. Without the "safe" environment of the Grotto and without bus and I to smack people into line if they got too graphic, people got WAY out of hand. The whole idea of the Grotto was to keep all the sex talk in one (well-controlled) place.
