For my 699th post... I'm going surfing!!!
I live off Washington Blvd in Mar Vista. Venice Beach is about a mile and a half down the road. I bought a soft-top surfboard a few weeks back and for the first time last week I actually rode some waves, not just stood on my board, but actually surfed!!!! I WANT MORE!!! The commodity markets are almost all closed (except for the indices) so I'm free!!

I just turned 48 and I'm pretty out of shape so surfing is my new gym. I've lost ten pounds already and have loved being in the water all my life so this is an exercise regiment I can stick with.. The water is about 55 F and the air is only 70 f but I have a full 4/3 wet suite, the waves are 3/4ft and smooth. Ah, freedom!!!
