This ALWAYS makes me cry!

I am watching Faranheit 9/11, and though it is difficult to watch, the most emotional part of the film is the beginning, when they are showing the returns of the 2000 election and the states, including Florida, being called for Al Gore. Thinking about that night and the following days literally makes me feel physical pain. Iraq, 9/11 are painful to remember, but nothing is more painful than the election because it was the beginning of the clusterfuck that is now happening in our world.

1. I got really pissed off and angry

during those scenes. It was a good way to start the movie.

2. I cry when he's presiding over Congress certifying the "results"...

where were the Senators? :cry:

3. What made me cry was the response to the Black Congressional Caucus.

They were treated less than respectful and laughed at.
