I was involved in a hit and run today.

We went on a field trip to lunch with special needs kids. As we were loading up to leave, a guy backed his SUV into our bus mirror. He gets out, looks at the damage, and drives away!

No one was hurt, thank Zoroaster!

Anyway, we got his tag, waited for the police, gave all the info, etc.

I just can't imagine how someone explains to their insurance agent why they hit a parked bus full of kids, and fled the scene.

There's also speculation as to whether the female passenger was the wife or a "friend" who also has to be explained.

Or, had he been drinking.
