I need a better way to get internet access ... for my BRAND NEW APPLE i-BOOK!!! I have to go the hotspot route right now and it's less than an ideal situation. I was told that these will give access anywhere.

I went to Radio Shack yesterday and they said they no longer sell them. But the website says that they are still available in the stores, just not online. Huh????

I considered using a cell phone to access the internet but was told that that was very slow. And the expense was way out of line.

It seems like some sort of wireless modem, so you're still going to have to pay for access, and speed will still be subject to cellular networks.

Then there's the fact that Radio Shack's online store is no longer carrying them, which means they're probably just trying to get rid of the inventory they already have.

And the best part: The Radio Shack 'customer' reviews. NOBODY writes reviews for products like that unless they're paid shills.
