I love the hide thread feature

It's my favorite feature of this website.

Every time I come into the Lounge I usually spend about 20 minutes hiding threads, often until the whole front page of the Lounge fits in my browser window.

There are people whose threads I always hide, and there are people whose threads I never hide.

Right now I have nobody on ignore, but I bet some people here have me on ignore.

I really didn't mean to get billyskank in trouble, and I'm sorry for the shit I started. Right now I have all of his threads hidden, so if someone's kicking them it isn't me.

The little gray box after the thread is pretty handy. If thy kudzu thread offends thee, hide it. It also works on BigJerr threads, the brazilian joke, baby pandas, Steve Gutenberg, matcom news, NewYawker's congratulatory threads, ZombyCoffee, American Idol, Nighthawks, ethanol, and every other thread on DU. You can even hide all the threads about * and his whole crappy administration and pretend the last 6 years never happened.

It's really a beautiful feature.

I promise I won't kick any more of billyskank's threads anymore. But if I do something irritating you're welcome to put me on ignore or hide my threads.

Most of the time that works to make annoying threads never be seen.
