Our kitties are sitting on the screened porch now hoping a little gecko sneaks in under the door. Then they'll bring it in and put it in the "arena" (bath tub) and bat it around until I rescue it ... hopefully before it's all used up. It all depends on how fast I am. :shrug:

but lizard and snakes I always have to rescue, and not from Ginger. He doesn't really seem interested in them, but my mom cats are. Most of them even sit around my ponds waiting for frogs ...

Satchmo brought in a little black racer once. It looked like a mustache the way it was hanging out of his mouth. So I picked him up, snake and all, took him outside, and told him to drop it. Thank goodness, the snake slithered under the screen door and never came back. I bet he told all his friends about it!

I love the use of solar energy - and the natural light in the middle of the house. The outside is so pretty - lots of "points."

36. We're not used to paying heating bills.

This looked like a great way to keep the energy consumption low. We got a customized plan to increase the efficiency, too. I'll take pics during the progress and when it's all done ... but you'll have to wait a while. It's not getting started until September. I'm glad you like it! :bounce:

The buyer came over today to show his parents the house. He was SO cute! He's very excited. :D And he said we could close any time, even though the current date is for June 15.
