I'm feeling pretty good today, but I don't think you can ever have too much positive energy.

2. Yeah. Plus, what like about the Positive Energy candles is that
Edited on Sun Apr-16-06 10:21 AM by BlueIris
they tend to put the positive anywhere I've forgotten to try to emphasize it. I meditate for Love, Abundance, Money, Healing and (wish I had one of these candles right now, let me tell you) Protection--but if there's any strata of good will that isn't among those areas, I've noticed that the Positive Energy candles will sometimes get to it. They tend to elevate my mood a little. Shake off the heebie-jeebies, that kind of thing.

33. Life really is too hard to endure messed-up neighbors.
I'm trying to disentangle myself from my roommates right now and it's a pain, but I think I'm going to feel a lot safer once I'm away from them.

37. I just need an extra boost of energy right now.
It's a busy time of year and I'm almost worn down. I'm trying to decide on a new herbal mix for a boost. Anything else that can help-so much the better!

38. No prob. And about energy boosters, I like bee pollen.
It's not good on an empty stomach, or if you are allergic to bee pollen/bee products, but if not--wow! That stuff has some serious staying power. And if you're not already taking a multi vitamin, I would be lost without Rainbow Light's Women's One. Plus, I hope you're getting enough B-12. When I'm low on B-12, it's not pretty.

40. I planned on adding locally produced honey.
Most of my problem is from allergies/hayfever and 2 TBSP of locally produced honey daily for two weeks will clear much of that right up. I'm adding the parsley for the same reason-sometimes it helps w/ allergies.

And I'm not getting enough B-12. I used to get injections every other week but haven't for quite some time.

As to the multivitamin-thanks for the product recommendation! I'll keep my eyes open for that brand and see if it works better than what I've taken in the past.

41. If you haven't already, I'd read up on parsley before you take it.
I did recently and while it is supposedly fine and very nutritious in small amounts, well...you should check it out.

I like the Women's One because it's effective and cheap ($13.99 + tax if you're in a state that has one) and doesn't irritate my stomach like other multis.

42. I've done the parsley in the past w/ no problems.
In large quantities it can cause skin rash (mostly while being harvested). It's also a diuretic so you have to keep potassium levels even. Most of the problems I've read have actually been from parsley oil-it can cause headaches, vertigo, kidney and liver damage.

Most of what I've read is that parsley that you've grown and harvested personally should pose no problems, as long as you do not exceed the daily amount.

47. I think it is too.
I really don't mess w/ many of the oils. I know how to make them but, for the most part, prefer the teas whenever necessary. I find that it's much easier to take too much of a dose of oil than it is to stomach a strong dose of tea. Plus, the oil is much stronger than the natural herb.

And parsley was one of those things that was used for almost everything at one point in time. Parsley in tea form is gentle enough (as long as I know where it was grown and how it was grown) that I've given my five year old the tea w/ a bit of honey as a relief for allergies. Anything stronger isn't really allowed to stay in our home.
