My ex revealed that he supports the Iraq war!
The whole time we were together, for two years, he pretended to share my sentiments. Now that we are no longer together he is showing his true colors. I knew that he wasn't into politics much, (one reason we broke up, not much in common. and obviously, a incompatible vibe) but I excused him for being too busy to keep up. Apparentely he was hiding his dark side from me, and in a recent email even accused me of supporting the enemy. Dear god, I feel seriously ill that I shared my bed with this person, I've had sour breakups before but for some reason this revelation really sickens me. It really gives me the creeps that I was bamboozled and intimate with a lying warmonger. I've been in a physically abusive relationship but this feels more disturbing, maybe it's the suddeness, and an abusive relationship evolves over time. Maybe this is how bush supporters feel when they hear some unpleasant truth about Bushco that doesn't jive with their image. maybe I should start a confidential support shelter for those in transition.

a little taste of the effect of rw propaganda:

"also your ties to supporting the people that want to harm this country, I thought you were leaving to go to Canada, you hate this country so much get the fuck out...... this is our country and we must protect it from those out to harm us, and you people who believe oh lets smoke some dope and they might go away."

similar in the future.

6. Thank you for your gracious offer
Do you do lobotomies, by any chance?

I think I will send him a pictorial of the effects of this glorious war. and then my duty is done. no wonder I've been feeling healthier lately, now I feel like driving to the food co-op right now for strong detoxification.

4. maybe he should enlist if he feels that the country is under threat
it sounds like he'd already have a head start when it comes to the brainwashing he'll get in the military.
