Favorite All Night Eatery:
Edited on Sun Apr-16-06 11:13 AM by Mayberry Machiavelli
Mine has to be the Tastee Diners, in Bethesda and Silver Spring, Maryland. Corned beef hash and eggs, and banana cream pie--used to be my deadly early morning pre-exam treat in younger days.

I don't live there anymore but I still remember them fondly.

How about you?

1. Holly's kitchen right here in beautiful
downtown West Carrollton.

It's locally owned and a one of a kind place. You can get just about any American meal there home cooked for a good price. I like the steak and eggs with sweet tea to drink.

2. Standee's, right down the street from me.
It's this restaurant that seems to have been around forever. The waitresses are friendly, the food is sandwiches, corned beef hash and eggs, meatloaf, that kind of stuff.

I go there quite often. It's just...an essential part of the neighborhood, I guess. The area wouldn't be the same without it.

3. The Original Hot Dog Shop - Pgh, PA
Edited on Sun Apr-16-06 01:26 PM by PittPoliSci
Also known as "the Dirty O"

Complete with security forces to make sure that you don't get stabbed (or shot, as of late) if you frequent this venue late at night.

Cheap fries, good pizza, dollar drafts, and 40s for on your way out.

5. I love Steak and Shake
Good choice. Kind of pricey...those steakburgers and shakes aren't all that cheap. But their food is damned tasty.
