Poll question: Favorite Tim Burton movie
I love this guy's style, so it is a hard decision for me. I watched "Big Fish" last night, and that is a charming flick.

What is your favorite?

3. Johnny Depp has been a great fit in Tim Burton's movies
I love his Ichabod Crane in "Sleepy Hollow". He was a nervous character!

2. I really liked "Big Fish." I hadn't heard of it before my wife brought
it home as a DVD and more or less made me watch it.

4. He seems to get a great cast of sort of strangelings for his films.
And Big Fish had a lot of them.

5. Big Fish - Tim Burton's Masterpiece Deserved an OSCAR
It's not as freaky as his others movies (Edward Scissorhands, the alien movie thing with Jack Nicholson, James and the Giant Peach ) and certainly very very different from those thus much more accessible a little bit of fantasy but not that it should not be too scary. This movie should have had an Oscar but I think it was up against Lord of the Rings (not sure it was nominated). So, I was heartbroken when it did not get the Oscar. Bought it soon as it came out on DVD, and I don't buy many movies. You may have to have a bit of an open mind, it is an acquired taste but it's a real TEARJERKER. What an awesome movie. Should be a classic.

6. I could personally relate to it.
My dad was a bit of a teller of tall tales, though not on the same level as the film, and it did embarrass me, but everyone loved my father - including my wife.

We all miss him.

So the movie really hit me.

14. #1 - Big Fish, #2 - Nightmare Before Christmas
Big Fish deserved an Oscar. It came out in a really tough year. It's such a sweet movie and all of the actors were perfect. Ewan McGregor and Albert Finney are the same person. :)

Nightmare Before Christmas is a great film. The music alone makes it worth watching.
