11. nope, yours is the keeper, there's a leak in the pool and it is well...

over half drained at this point in time (very un-dramatic); we were discussing the up-keep factor over dinner, in that it must have been monumental to say the least x( did get some shots of the indoor pool that i'll post in a bit

our tour guide made a point of telling us how much fun it was to swim in....after hours, when it's just the tour guides and staff around. Cool, huh? I guess that's one of the many benefits of the job.

Did you happen to watch the big IMAX movie presentation on his life? It was pretty damn good, imo. The last time I'd been at the castle, I was only 14, and they hadn't built the Visitor Center and theatre yet. I must say, I was impressed when we were there last summer.

Yes, it's the ultimate tourist scene, but worth it to go at least once in one's life. I took our 9 yr old down for a fun Mother/Daughter w/e and we had a great time....even if the gas prices in Cambria were shocking....:eyes:

are already...if that made sense, i'd never been there, but hubby was some 30yrs ago and broke it down like you just did = no visitor center etc; the IMAX component was part of 'the gig' i mentioned; we got the gig cause of his work in film so...whatever works :-)

it is interesting to see so many people from all around the world going up there, that part was cool; we spoke with some people from paris, germany, spain, mexico city, greece...it was nice
