We were one model year too early for the seats that fold into the floor, but I'm still very happy with my Sienna.

58. I like it very much.
It could be better in terms of acceleration response, but there's a turbo version that's available, which I imagine would look after that. (Sorry, I'm useless when discussing car specs.)

Other than that, though, I have no real complaints. I should probably also offer the disclaimer that it's a company car, so I don't have to worry about other costs like maintenance and so on. On the other hand, the company DOES, and the Cruiser was their ultimate decision.

70. This should be pretty accurate...
I've been entering fuel data into my PalmPilot since November, and it's telling me that my mileage is 10.70 litres/100 kilometres, which works out to 21.98 miles per US gallon. About 95% of that driving is on the highway.

11. Hey.. the explorer is a small SUV.
In my opinion, a very reasonable vehicle.

At least it's not an Excursion, Navigator, Suburban, or an H2.

I live in the Ozarks, in a town with very steep grades. When we do get snow and ice, you almost have to have a 4wd to get around. My wife's van does ok, but it still wouldn't go up some streets during the last snow.

129. If you wanted to get technical
I suppose it's valid. Many or most (maybe all; I dunno) SUVs are on truck frames, and many/most/all also get a pass on mileage by being classified as trucks instead of passenger cars — which is the only way some of them are legally on the road.

But then, what's in a name? It bugs some people when I call my El Camino a truck. I can see their point; I just don't agree with it.

Have you noticed that every day it seems like there are more and more E's one the road? It's the new cult phenomenon I think. I live in a small town and there are at least 6 other ones I recognize consistantly, and I see even more random ones.

82. 2006 Kia Rio5
5-door hatchback, popular body style in Europe. Averaging right around 30mpg in mixed driving, still breaking it in. Mine's got the auto and power package, cruise isn't offered from the factory but an add-on is in the works. Same deal with the new Hyundai Accent (same chassis/drivetrain). Love the car, very agile but decently smooth on the highway for a little car. I can rival small SUV's in cargo room with the back seats folded down, too.

http://www.kia-forums.com/index.php?&act=garage&CODE=14&type=garage_gallery&id=928

I wish Ford would bring the Fiesta over here, it's a sharp small car...ditto the new Euro Focus, nicer than the US one which is getting long in the tooth. But Americans need to see the value in small cars again, I think the increasing gas prices are doing just that.

Pretty much a custom touring bike, since the off-the-rack bikes are made to last a year or two. Otherwise, it costs more to replace chintzy parts as they wear out after a few months. At least as often as I'm in the saddle.

93. I drive a 2005 Mini Cooper
and my husband drives a 2004 Honda Element. We have to laugh at the Honda commercials now that refer to the Element as a truck. Anything less truck-like is hard to imagine. We also have 2002 Jeep Liberty for hauling the trailer when we go to SCA camping events, need to haul mulch or whatever from the garden center to the house or the step daughter needs to go to IKEA to get furniture for her house. Most of the time it sits in the driveway. Come to think of it, so does the Element. My husband uses it around town to take the kidlet to pre-school, gynmnastics or food shopping and errends. Otherwise, we drive the Mini.
