Harleydad arrived safely in TN. He already went to look at the land and he says it looks gorgeous now ... and it looked pretty darn good in January! We have buttercups growing. And blossoms on one of the trees (he doesn't know what kind). He sent me a few pics over the phone, but they're REALLY tiny. I can't wait till he uploads some from the camera. :bounce:

Anyway, I'm SO relieved that he's safe. Thanks to everyone!

Yep ... it's all in my journal now. The short version is that we bought land in January, got a contract on the house this past Saturday, and he went up to interview for a job and work with the builder on our house plans. We're moving in early to mid-June. :D

But it's also stressful. Keeping the house cleaned every day was pretty hard on me. Some of the realtors only gave us 10 minutes notice. At least now I can relax a little, float in the pool ... LIVE in my house while we still own it.

I wasn't patient enough to wait, so I called harleydad every few hours. That was a lot easier on the nerves than waiting for him to call. But he invited me to do so and then STILL called me when he arrived.

And, no, you are not crazy.

First time it went right to voice mail.
Second time it ranh twice and voice mail. (I left a message)
Third time he answered! :)

I just about freaked out when I called once and didn't even get voice mail -- just some really fast rings. :scared: He was driving in the mountains and didn't have a signal for a minute.

It's nice that we can both relax now, knowing our loved ones are safe. :D
