Ours was simply amazing. :wow:

Town park was filled with eggs, some plastic with goodies and prize tickets and some hard-boiled, destined to get skooshed. :D

2,000 eggs, according to the Elks club guy in charge. About one every 12 inches or so, in the grass, in bushes, trees, and such. Roped off areas delineated how old the kids could be in that area. Freakin' hilarious... the whole thing was over in about 40 seconds! :D

Best quote of the day was overheard from a father telling his kids strategery, "When the guy says 'go,' you run like hell to the other end of the park! There'z eggs everywhere, and kids'll be stopping right in front! There'z TONS of eggs on the other side!" :rofl:

1. Ours was nice.

They had areas roped off for different age groups, and then one general family egg hunt with prizes. It was held at the Botanical Gardens here in town. My two year old refused to particpate in the 2 and under hunt, because they had someone in a koi fish costume (feeding the kois is a big draw to the gardens) come out on the field to give the go signal, and it terrified him. Other than that, we had a great time.
