11. Speaking from experience,
making a complete ass of yourself in front of her really helps with that. If you do it right, she'll never want anything to do with you again. Ever.

16. Yeah, I've done that a time or two.
I think she's too forgiving. It's not that she doesn't want me....it's just that she only want me when she's drunk. When she sobers up, she comes to her senses and starts ignoring me again. Haha, this is pathetic.

18. Jus Fuggediboudit!
Seriously, get your mind off her. Whatever way works for you. BTW, the chemical method which I usually endorse, will not work in this case. Well it will, but afterwards it will hit you harder, so stay away from large amounts of alchohol.

A play, movie or video game would be in order. Stay away from romantic movies, in fact I reccomend horror. Teens in a cabin getting stalked by Jason or Freddy...catharsis helps.

Let me reccomend this film - trust me, it will take your mind off her...

28. Tough thing to do, Comrade.
I really couldn't move on until I reached my lowest point. Then I made some drastic changes in my life.

Frightening that she still cares about me. Ironic too, because now I'm sublimely happy.

It's okay, man. You'll get over it. Then she'll keep fading in your rearview mirror.

31. I'm in the same boat, South. It's minute by minute for me.
I keep waiting for the day when I stop missing him, but it doesn't come. And I've definitely made an ass of myself, many times over. Many, many times. Ugh. I'm a "leave no stone unturned" kinda girl; the idea being that I will never have to wonder if I could have made it work, somehow. You have my extreme empathy.

45. Love at first sight for me. For him, I have no idea. He proclaimed
us "soulmates" before we'd even kissed. I believed him. It's been only six weeks since we were suddenly no longer soulmates. So we have different situations, you and I. I wish us both better, truer love. I also wish I believed it was out there. Sigh.

33. You're so adorable, what's her problem?
Just goes to show, there's no accounting for people's bad taste.

Whatever you do, don't listen to Elvis Costello, I think that's part of your problem LOL. I find when I'm feeling all squooshy, some music doesn't help.

I hope you don't have any Morrissey. :scared:

34. Frank Sinatra sang it:
Don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, let her go,
Don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, let her go.
You got to realize this is the wind-up,
You're gonna feel much better once you made your mind up.
Don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, let her go.
So you lost your gal,
it's happened many times before,
So you sit and mope like a dope,
what's that good for,
Get a hold of yourself,
forget her,
you lived long before you met her.
There're lots of other girls,
so I say,
Don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, let her go.
Don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, let her go.
You got to realize this is the wind-up,
You'll feel much better once you made your mind up.
Don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, let her go.
Take a look around and see just what you're missing,
You'll soon forget your troubles, Joe,
if you'd only listen.
So don't cry, Joe,
let her go, let her go, Joe, let her go

35. Think about yourself instead...
Someone has hurt you, and you need to give yourself the same loving care you'd give to any friend who was hurting. Cook yourself a nice meal. Buy yourself some flowers. Give yourself a hug. Surround yourself with the people who matter in your life, and give to them as you would have given to the woman who hurt you.

This will help you move on...

36. Suffer...
but at some point you have to pick yourself up and realize that you are hurting yourself and feeling sorry for yourself ...

You are so much better off not putting energy into a person who doesn't appreciate you.

Let her go.
