12. True
no A&Ps here, but when I lived in New York, I always picked up the Bokar or Columbian from the A&P, with a grinder at every checkout stand, although I ground at home.....

13. Gevalia
Yeah, I'm one of those suckers who gets shipments every couple of months. I don't drink that much coffee (just started drinking it when I was in my mid-30s), but I don't have to think about buying it that way. BTW, Gevalia's Kona coffee is the best!!!

17. For the morning kick start,
the Hannaford's house coffee, not bad and it does get the motor turned over. When we're on the road, Green Mountain Coffee; it's at every pit stop in New England, pretty good. When we're treating ourselves, Black Bear Coffee, a NH micro brewery. I think they serve it in heaven.

18. At the risk of incurring the wrath of coffee drinking purists..
I drink Folgers.

I am drinking coffee because I like it, period.

How did the purists exist before Starbucks and home espresso machines?

25. Starbucks (when I'm out) or Cafe Habitat (when I'm home)
Cafe Habitat is an organic, free-trade, shade-grown coffee that's really good and it's also roasted by a homeless co-op in Northhampton, MA. So basically, not only is the coffee grown in the best way possible, but it gives jobs to the homeless. They also have cool names for all the roasts...

Cuppa Joe Hill, Emma's Gold, Wicked Women's Roast, Extreme Beans, Radical Roast

You can get it at health food stores and www.organicbeansonline.com

26. I used to buy my coffee at one of those little coffee places.....
It was like Starbucks, but local.

Then one fine day, I discovered that my local grocery store (Ralphs) carried the stuff, they always had it, and I could grind it myself at the store.....Plus the price was definitely right!

So.....I get mine at Ralphs......It tastes great! Colombian Supremo...

:hi:

Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 11:58 PM by jpgray
Their blends are much more to my taste, and from Amazon it's competitively priced. I have a stovetop espresso maker, which if you know how to use it makes extremely good espresso.
