My dog got to meet his litter mate this weekend!
OMG it was such a show. Those two boys just tusseled and romped. I wish I had pics.

The funny thing is is that our dog hates other dogs and is very protective of his family when another dog comes to visit. In fact, my sil can't bring her dogs here because our dog just plain doesn't like other dogs.

But that wasn't the case when his brother showed up. He hasn't seen his brother since he was seven weeks old which was almost two years ago. The woman that does out bottle pick-up came up and she brought along her dog, which was the litter mate of Boodah. How do you explain it? Do you think Boodah really knew by smells that this was family? It was crazy!!

1. That's amazing!
Maybe it's like salmon finding their way back to the ol' spawning grounds or something ... Animals have knowledge we can't begin to comprehend.

7. Because they were both purchased from the same woman whose dog
gave birth on June 9, 2004 to a litter of 10 Golden pups.

5. Wow! That is amazing! I have two Poms who are sisters, but born
one year apart. I am convinced that they know they are related. They bonded immediately. The oldest is dying, enlarged heart and vaginal tumors and her sister senses something isn't quite right.

6. My dogs long lost pup came to visit- it was like a family reunion.
Mom and Dad walked up, sniffed him and tails started wagging. His sister from that litter also lives here and she was extra happy to see him. She wouldn't leave his side the whole time.
I took in the two adults and their pup Peedee when their owners rental house burned down. The male dog that visited was taken in by the guy who owned the house and farms the land across the road. I let him take the hay from my property for his cows and he brought the guy last time he was here. I was kind of funny because the three younger pups didn't challenge him after they saw what the older dogs did. They would usually try to bark down a new comer.
