stupid question

I hope I'm starting a thread, I can't really tell from all the different options. Oh well. LOL. Anyway, I'm going to the Dominican Republic tomorrow and I'm trying to pack. Can I take a can of hair mousse on an airplane? I've searched and searched and can't really find a yes or no answer. It's been quite a while since I've flown and I'm not sure of all these rules. Hope this isn't inappropriate, but the Lounge seems like a good place to ask this and get a quick response. Thanks.

Thanks for the welcomes and especially the big one! I know no one cares about my hair!! LOL. But, my husband and I have to attend a group dinner one night and I'm bringing it specifically for that!! I called the airport (they didn't know!!), but referred me to the homeland security website. It says aerosol cans for personal grooming in limited quantities. Of course, there was no definition of what the limit was. Oh well, if they make me throw it away, I'll get some funky braids and go to the dinner like that.

I have no idea how to answer your hair mousse question, sorry. I can't imagine it would be that big of a problem. I would've never even thought of that, truthfully. I bet you'll be fine.
