12. True, but Witt was always a fierce, tough, intimidating competitor.
She used every psychological trick in the book, including carefully placed media comments, standing at rinkside and watching her top rivals' performances to make them more nervous, kissing up to the judges big time, wearing costumes so skimpy you could almost see up her butt.

she knew nothing about the attack until after it happened. But, yes, it's a good example.
