I saw MrScorpio's thread, and thought, more to the point
what would happen in a fight between Imperial stormtroopers, who can't hit the bright side of a planet, and USS Enterprise redshirts, who always die within five minutes of commencing an away mission?

2. But what would they die from?
They never just die, like by natural causes. They're always killed by something.

3. The storm troopers carry explosives.
There is always a scientific explanantion ;).

More to the point: Who would win if the entire empire declared war on the whatever the hell amalgamtion of power is in star trek?

10. Sure
But that would be inefficient. They prefer to assimilate everybody instead, unless they are not worth the bother, in which case they're irrelevant and the Borg will ignore them.

6. Or little funny hooded things. Or something 1000 times as improbable.
Or just a guy with a stick.

8. You don't think that you're over-analysing this problem do you?

Also, should be noted that whilst the guy in red always gets killed - they do always find some way to win in the end.

12. No!!

They always win because only the guys in red get killed, leaving all the regular cast members to survive and win to fight another day. Like the guy in that film said, if you have a last name then you probably won't die.

But I was thinking of an army comprise entirely of redshirts.

9. Well, there's bound to be a pretty female Imperial stormtrooper ...
Kirk would find her and kiss her passionately and then all the fighting would end. :D

I like Star Trek better. :D But I think Spaceballs is hilarious! May the farce be with you ...

11. Hi AirmensMom!
I left the Kirk factor out of this equation. I was thinking of a battallion comprised entirely of redshirted crewmen. :hi:

13. Hi billy!
Well, if Kirk can't be there, I don't want to play.

You can always tell who's going to buy the farm on Star Trek ... it's the redshirted crewmen you don't recognize. :hi:
