My husband...
worked some extra odd jobs (unbeknownst to me) so he could surprise me with this, which was a type of ring I'd admired MONTHS ago, but never expected him to buy me. The way he bought it means the world to me. I can't believe he remembered I liked them and went to so much effort to get it for me. He's not much for mushy, sentimental outpourings, but I guess he thinks about me, anyway. :loveya:

5. No occassion.
I was just joking awhile back that he'd better get me a present, for picking up the slack around here while he was chronically absent during the home show. He knew I was entirely kidding, but used it as an excuse to give me the ring. I thought maybe he'd pick me up a couple amaretto truffles or something, not this!

2. what a guy!!
Lucky you Lara, I'm sure he thinks the world of you. He's one special guy, a keeper for sure. great looking ring too.

My husband gave me a wedding ring for Christmas, never in my wildest dreams did I think he'd do that. He is VERY non traditional and definately not the mushy type :) sentimental yes.

Enjoy your gift!

7. Thanks!
We don't really have space in our budget for things like this, which is why he did the much-detested odd jobs for extra money. It was so thoughtful, and I'm touched by the lengths he went to in order to do something special for me. He's a really good guy.

I guess this means that
someone in your house isn't all that mad at you, and you're not looking for a sofa to sleep on after all.

10. Lol!
Only the kids were mad at me, that day. He wasn't home to have the opportunity to witness my offensiveness.

12. He is a good guy.
We don't always connect like we should, because we're very different and busy with kids and such, but I know he loves me- ring or not.

13. Mystic topaz.
It's kind of purply-green and really different. I'm not much of a diamond girl (fortunately for him) I like more unique stones.

16. Very nice
I could not place it the gem. I'm not a diamond person, either. I have this strange fascination with black pearls.

15. Yeah, probably.
He tolerates me and my rabid mood swings, so that earns him alot of points right off the bat. Plus, he's kinda' cute and I like his butt. :D
