29. Raoul Duke is Hunter S. Thompson's alter-ego

in the book "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas: A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream." It was turned into a movie with Johnny Depp playing Raoul. Depp and Thompson were pretty much best friends. Thompson is a hero of mine. He loved guns & explosions, but he was also a political commentator (HATED Bush...and most other conservatives) and sports writer who did a shit load of drugs. The drawing is based off of a photo of HST and the logo in the upper right is his symbol. He created Gonzo journalism and he also ran for Sheriff of Aspen, CO and almost won. It's a two-thumbed fist with a dagger holding a peyote button.
