Are carrots OK for doggies?

10. One of my old boss' used to feed her dogs a homemade diet...

They got raw meat, vegetables and occaisionally cooked brown rice. She had the healthiest dogs I've ever seen.

However, after a friend of mine told me about its effects, I gave my cat an olive to play with. And it was like catnip.

It's like kitty crack. If I bring one home she begs and begs and begs for bits until it's gone.

She doesn't like fries, though. :shrug:

My other cats are picky as hell.

Ginsberg-um...I guess he doesn't eat humans. Other than that, it's all food. Eats catnip like crazy.

Midnight-any dry food, no cat treats (although she will steal them from others because she's mean & dominant with other animals), Nutro wet food (packets only), sashimi, has sinus problems and will lick wasabi. Not affected by catnip, but will show up on the scene and be a buzzkill.

Peaches-any dry food (but loves the cheap kind, so it's a treat), chicken jerky, any wet food in pouches. Wishes to bath in catnip. Flattens body over catnip and repeatedly pushes herself over it with her hide legs and rolls around.

Cuddles-dry food (once again, preferably cheap), Pounce cat treats, no canned food, deli sliced turkey (despite being the pickiness...he's the fatty, but he's also the only lazy one). Seemingly not affected by cat nip. Will try to hump Peaches or Ginsberg while they're high. Ginsberg is not gay. Peaches is a slut.

Kittys are a trip. I wish I had a scad of them. My kitty was once quite fat. too much free-feeding. But the pup keeps him on his toes these days.

30. Well, Midnight & Ginsberg are mine, but I moved back home.

Peaches & Cuddles are Ragdoll cats, which means they exist to be pretty lumps. I really don't think Peaches is though. She's too small and doesn't have the personality. She looks like a mini-Ragdoll though. She was rescued from a breeder that was starving her and using her as a kitten machine. They were selling her kittens for $700 and she didn't even have any papers.

Edit: The Ragdolls are my mom's.

31. I have a friend back home that has cats like that

She lives with her mom, and they each have kittys. They get terribly upset when she moves and takes some kitties with her. But then they all come back an they are happy again.

32. Yeah, I worry about Peaches & Ginsberg when I move out again.

They're totally bonded. I have a feeling my mom may give me Peaches, because I'm her favorite person. Cuddles doesn't care about being left alone. Midnight can be alone or with other cats. She'll let them hang around on her terms, but they all know to keep their distance and that she gets first dibs on everything.

I have never seen any cat like him. Truly a regal animal. I would LOVE to have a black cat with blue eyes though. Ever see one?

I had a Belgian Malinois that adored carrots and bananas, but just went nuts over apples.
