3. I think roller coaster review writer
would be the best job on the face of the planet. When I go to an amusement park, the only thing I ride is the roller coasters (unless they have an antique carousel - I will always ride an antique carousel and we have both at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz).

4. Um, no.
:puke:

I used to love roller coasters until one made me sick when I was about 13.

6. Other: They scare me
I got stuck for hours in one that broke down once while I was at the top. I've been too scared to get on another one.

I was a only kid then so it may have only been 5 minutes but it sure felt like hours.

11. Yeah
And then you get sick of being scared. ;)

I'm that way with boats and water - I nearly drowned as a kid and I just can't relax on a boat or around a swimming pool even though I know it's irrational.

18. Irrational is not always a bad thing
IMHO. It keeps us from safely away from things that make us scared &/or sick.

That's my story & I'm sticking to it. :)

17. At this point in my life I'm used to it
and I've got a bit better over the years. As a kid elevated freeways and bridges scared the hell out of me (that made visits to my Bay Area relatives a riot, believe me) but now I can handle them okay if I'm in a car.

I absolutely can't stand less than a few body lengths away from any drop-off though. My feet simply won't move in that direction and I freeze and crouch near the secure, safe ground until some brave soul comes and retrives me.

19. Glad you've gotten better
and used to that which isn't.

Here's hoping you always have a brave soul nearby when needed. :)
