The original Twinkies had banana flavored filling.
They're selling them now at the stores, in conjunction with the release of King Kong on DVD.

How should I kill them?

Very good to see you! It has been a while.

I don't remember chocolate twinkies, but I wish I did. :)

Don't be a stranger.

4. Hi, back, Floogeldy. Love your posts, and I'll try to drop into the loung
a little more often.

I hang out sometimes in the politics arena, if for no other reason than to make disparaging remarks about the Bush administration.

Hope you're doin' well.

5. Chocodiles. Chocolate-covered Twinkies.
I think they are kind of regional. Haven't seen them for a while.

8. They were the King of Twinkies...
...at least until George W. came along.

I used to be able to get them in California, but have never seen them in Washington state.

While we're at it...can we complain about the lack of Drake's products (Yodels, Ding-Dongs, Devil Dogs, etc.) on the west coast? While they used to be a (far superior) competitor to Hostess snacks, I understand that both companies are now owned by the same conglomerate. Nonetheless, while I understand you can still get Yodels et. al. in the Northeast, there's no sign of them on the left side of the Continental Divide.

18. No, I mean the regular-ol' Twinkies, except in chocolate.
It's certainly possible that I dreamed it.

14. I didn't know that.
not that I'd ever buy them, but I'm interested in the product bundling idea with the DVD. Hmmm...

here in our town, at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park, they have a truly decadent delicacy called a Deep-fried Twinkie. They deep-fry it and THEN they dip it in chocolate.

:puke: not really my thang, but hey, some people are into that kinda shit.

go figure.

:hi:

15. The T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. Project!
T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. stands for Tests With Inorganic Noxious Kakes In Extreme Situations.

T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. is a series of experiments conducted during finals week, 1995, at Rice University. The tests were designed to determine the properties of that incredible food, the Twinkie.

16. See, now I don't really feel that.
I've never quite captured the banana filling thing though.

I'd like to maybe see what a peanut butter flavoring might taste like in there though.
