10. My Pets:

His name is Beauregard. He's a lab mix. My Husband named him after a character in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. I don't remember the name of the cartoon, but it had a southern gentleman on his porch calling, 'Beauregard! Come here boy!'



She's not actually my cat, she belongs to a friend who rents a room from us. She kinda adopted everybody in the house. Her name is Athena, BKA Kitty Kitty. I know nada about cat breeds, so I'd say she a garden-variety housecat.

...You should see what he does when he wants something. First he tries the 'stare' treatment. Sits off th the side of me, just inside my range of view. And stares. If that doesn't get my attention, he'll come over and put his head on my thigh and look at me pathetically. It's a riot.

Books? I just finished 'Our Endangered Values' by Jimmy Carter. An excellent book, one I heartily recommend.

My favorite books would be anything with 'Star Trek' in the title, 'cause I'm a Trek-geek. :7
