psychoactive plants are pretty amazing
I mean, how is it that a simple drink made from hot water that's been infused with ground up beans from some bush can make me feel less exhausted? That's really cool.

1. You can thank an Ethiopian farmer's goats for that discovery.

3. If you think that's cool
Wait until you sample the cacti, shrooms and leafy green herbs, Ma nature is wonderful.

4. I have a copy of The Golden Guide to Hallucinogenic Plants...
It fits right in with their other nature guides, although I believe it's now out of print.

Last time I checked, someone had posted a facsimile on the net--including colored pictures!

6. no doubt...it's mind blowing even just to think about it
Especially things like peyote or psilocibin...they just grow out of the ground (or, well, on stuff in the case of fungi), you eat them, and everything changes for you. I'm surprised all the "intelligent design" people don't bring up more stuff like this, you know, as "proof" of a higher power and whatnot.
