5. Because of Alias

Alias kicked ass last night. I'm fine with missing Lost for a week for Alias' return.

Now, another clip show? That sucks.

Its a business after all, so ABC needs to get the most bang out of their bucks. April ratings books don't mean shit. May is the money book. It is the biggest determining factor of the ad prices for the next full season.

Next season, the producers are considering doing LOST in three "acts". Each act would be in a block with continuous weeks, allowing for schedule oddities. That would make sense and add continuity instead of chopping it up.

SPOILER: Cynthia Watross (Libby) is leaving LOST to do a pilot for a new sitcom. My educated guess is that they're killing her off this season and not leaving her at "guest star" status. She'll be one of the women to be killed off.
