What do car guys think of gas prices?

Well, the post below on a car forum might give a clue. Oh, nothing that might surprise you, for the most part, until you get near the bottom. One poster made use of the resources of Our Precious DU to spread A) a little truth and B) a way to do something about it. So far, poster has not been flamed. Who might that poster be? Hmmm.

2. ive found most car guys tend to be clueless right wingers

They know somethings wrong but they cant quite figure out whos to blame. I used to be a car guy, but I can take it or leave it. There are other things in life.

Unfortunately, I've made the same observation. I used to hang out at ChevyTalk, but there's too many freepers there for my taste.

In a thread about Iraq a year or so ago, this one fuckpole actually told me, "Your (sic) right, I don't care if non-Americans die."

4. actually confronting freepers on car websites drove me to DU

Someone I know from one of those boards was on here and told me about it. He used to drive a Camaro and now drives a Prius.

I felt outnumbered like 10-1 when we were about to invade Iraq and during the 2004 elections we had some real flamewars. I stopped going to those sites and they have since shutdown their political forum.
