Iggy is one of the finest songwriters American rock has ever produced. Forget the wild-man antics, the man is a BRILLIANT songwriter. In fact, he's my favorite.

He was already being well-ignored before he reached his creative peak, in the late 70s and early 80s. Fans who don't have "New Values" or "Zombie Birdhouse" should get thee-selves to amazon.com or wherever :)

However, I still have a place in my heart for "Funhouse". One of the greatest rock albums ever, IMHO.
