porcelain, with mesh around the eyes and mouth. Here is a closer look:

I think I'd scare more than a few people if I wore it around the hospital, plus it wouldn't protect me from germs (I have to wear a surgical mask whenever I leave my room). I think it'll be a great way to greet selected visitors, however...
