Parents ganging up on a poor kid. Abusive jealous stepmother....yikes.

I cringed....I am so angry.....that dad claims to care so much about his daughter, but he encourages his jealous excuse for a wife and is just as abusive.

Did you see the part where the father is abusing the kid and the stepmother is caught on tape physically goading him on? Beyond sick.

Stepmom is so sore at the kid for getting along with her siblings, but look what kind of mother she is? Ugh!

4. the part i saw the father was beating the crap out of the poor girl

and then when she said she was getting sick and needed to throw up the stepmom came in and gave her a bucket and said "i want you to puke your brains out"

it's god-awful.


i don't see how anyone could do that to a child, let alone their own. :cry:

That poor girl.....she's 16 now and trying to be brave, but I think come her 20's or 30's she's going to look back on her childhood and feel really resentful. :( Just my opinion.

They had psychologists and counselors watching the tapes who were actually WINCING, but no one stopped the behaviors of the parents.

The poor kid is so forgiving, too. She is light-years ahead of the step-mother.

especially in the meeting near the end. The stepmom was a phony putting on a show...she hates that poor kid. She has no intention ever of even admitting the problems in that family are mainly caused by HER (and Dad)

reflexively making hitting motions when the dad was actually doing the hitting.

Didn't it all make you want to call the poor child up and offer her a home. It seemed like all she needed was to be WANTED by her family.

14. She was dad's daughter by his first marriage....

a pretty normal kid....had ADD and suffered from depression, which parents mocked. She was explaining about her reports from school (she had a hard time concentrating) Dad and Stepmom ganged up on her, and to make a long story short, Dad started smacking the girl. Stepmom was seen on camera physically egging on the fight.

that was one episode....another episode: Daughter having birthday party, Dad gives family heirloom ring to pathetic excuse for wife. Emotionally crushes the kid, I think.

Kid cuddles and plays with younger stepsiblings, Stepmom gets bitterly jealous. Sits in a snit smoking and drinking. Likes to berate and scream at kid. Mean, nasty things. Mom seems so white trash and MEAN.
