I was in a bad car wreck last Friday....

Had a concussion, busted an ear drum, staples in my head, the other person's fault, and the other driver's insurance company is already attempting to go the cheap route and try to get out of paying. Bastards, I have already had to hire an attorney. I don't remember the wreck at all, thank God there was a few witnesses.

I have never been so angry in my life, apparently this jackass pulled right out in front of me. I have a wife and a 10 week year old child, plus I dig life. Life is fragile, no question. After seeing the car after the wreck to get my stuff, I should not be here.

No legal action for at least 6 months, preferably not a yr as it takes that long to figure out how you are. 6 months to a yr at minimum and in the meantime take it easy for a couple weeks. Glad you are alive

10. I did not want to get an attorney, believe me.....

But as soon as the other driver's insurance company was told that I did not remember the accident they started messing with me. Luckily, witnesses came out of the woodwork and the insurance folks don't have a shot in hell.

Got screwed over by one myself ... not car insurance, though. I didn't want to get an attorney, either. But sometimes you have to. I'm glad the witnesses are backing you up.

My grandmother was in a similar accident as well. Some jerk swerved into her lane didnt even attempt to stop. She has a broken rib, one woman is still in the hospital with 2 broken vertebrae in her neck, and the other walked. He totally walked and her car was trashed. He didnt even attempt to stop (no skid marks) - his truck was 1/4 mile down the road. His wife ran out from their house to see if they were ok. He didnt even bother.

I hope your attorney gets what you deserve - remember to ask for pain and suffering. Shes going through the same crap as well and needs to hire an attorney. Take it easy and relax.. let the attorney battle it out.
