What are your favourite forums that you post in and why?

I only really post in three forums...

1) Religion and Theology.......I've met a lot of cool people over there. There are plenty of stimulating conversations over there. Oh, and flame wars. But they aren't too bad.

2) DU Lounge. I always laugh out loud at least 3 times when I come to this forum. A good place to go to get away from serious people and hang out with clowns. YES YOU. YOUR ALL CLOWNS (and I mean that in the best possible way).

3)General Discussion. Don't post there nearly as often, because most of the people there can say what I'm thinking before I can even type. Although it can be hazardous at times, I find it interesting

I also love the Science forum, although I really don't post there.

What about you? What are your top forums? And if your a DU LOUNGE only person...get out of here for a second and quit being so damn incestuous.

4. I don't post in GD that much, but I love

Religion/Theology: Philosophy between Flamewars
Science - I just lurk though
Atheist/Agnostic: Why O why do I love that one? 'cos I'm an atheist!
Skeptic/Science/Pseudoscience: When I get the chance and I know for certain I am not offending people or doing damage, such as in the Skeptic forum, I must admit that I love to laugh at woo-woos, ID'ers, PCT's, PIgots, and S9/11T. That's what that forum is for.
Writing: I may be a scientist, and I may have almost no writing talent, and I write very little, but I prefer to be a bit of a jack-of-all-trades.;)
Mental Health Support Group: I am not sane, I like supporting people and helping people. And I am very interested in psychology. Put them all together and you get my constant presence in the DU MHSG.

8. Well

I'm in here a lot, but I have other haunts as well.
1.) Skeptics' forum. I spend a LOT of time there, actually
2.) Christian Liberals' forum. Not so much lately
3.) Sports, before baseball season started

Thats about all I POST in on a regular basis. I read a lot more, like GD, Ohio, Civil Liberties, and College.

9. Incestuous?

How so?

I usually only post in the Lounge. Mainly, because when I post anywhere else
it ends up here and I believe in cutting out the middle-men.

I read several forums.

Primarily, LBN GD Science and Election Reform... Or whatever else interesting
pops up on the lastest thread display.

13. DU is only one of many forums/news sites I visit as well...

Strangely enough, when I've attempted to post there my posts end up
in the DU Lounge as well. :shrug:

The local problem goes like this... I'll go to Religion/Theology and
post something like "Is there any humor in the Bible?" Then there is
general outrage among the locals. The scythes, torches, and pitchforks
come out. The moderators get alerted and the next time I do a refresh
in the thread I've started I find myself in the Lounge.

I've come to believe it's God's will that I post in the Lounge and
I'm not a superstitious sort.

Islam (as an observer, I've learnt lots from there, and I think that at the moment it's an area in which we should be getting more knowledgeable)
Religion/Theology (but I always regret it when I post things in there)

The Lounge - for obvious reason I think.
LBN - I think I post there more often than any other forum.
Evnironment/Engergy - I lurk a lot most of my posts are questions but I occasionally pass on info I have
Science Fiction - Just for fun and actually there's occasionally very intereting discussions on stories and how they relate to politics and current events
R&T - I used to post more often here now I pretty much lurk but occasionally through in a post
Science - I lurk a lot there
Books: Fiction - Usually something interesting or fun there
Books: Non-Fiction - just to get a feel for how my current reading list compares to others here at DU and sometimes get ideas for the next book to pick up
Massachusetts - my home state
