8. I've slept for 16 hours before
That was after being up for 30 hours, though. It was in the blizzard of December '04. My company sent me out to Cleveland in a day cab tractor. I didn't know how bad the storm was going to get. There was only a few inches on the ground when I left the yard. It took me 20 hours to do a 400 mile run. I was very lucky to make it back in that amount of time. When I was getting back close to the terminal the highway was shut down because some trucks got stuck and jack-knifed on a hill. Luckily, I was right next to an exit off the highway where I knew I could find my way back to the yard. When I got back to the yard we had a record snow fall on the ground. I think it was 18 inches.

12. How to Indoor Stair Louge
How to Indoor Stair Louge

Hey kids, wanna know how to ride the stairs on a plank of wood? Read on!

Steps

1. Put a duvet or a pile of cushions about 15 cm away from the bottom stair.
2. Sit on a plank of wood lengthways about 60cm by 90cm on the stairs.
3. With your butt on the back quarter of the board, place your feet lightly on the end, and your hands flat on the middle of the board.
4. When you are ready, push down with your feet and don't lean forward.
5. When you are on the last stair, take your feet off the board and land it.
6. Take the board up and do it again!

Tips

* Go barefoot for grip, otherwise your feet may slip off the end of the board.

Warnings

* If you lean forward, the front of the board will dig into the stairs catapulting you all the way down. IT HURTS!
* If you lean back, you might fall of the back of the board and hit your head. That also hurts!

Things You'll Need

* Stairs
* A Plank of wood
* Something soft to land on at the bottom of the stairs
