I met him in the seventies when he was Governor, it was at USC's baseball field at a celebrity game between Rolling Stone mag. and the groups Chicago and the Eagles. Gov Brown showd up in a T-shirt and jeans by way of a ford faielane.

Jerry looks great.

I remember seeing him in 1990 at Dianne's victory party when she won the Democratic nomination for Gov in SF.

He was just by himself walking around the room. He walked right past me and I had to do a double take. I wish I would have talked to him.

yeah I should have talked to him that night.

But what was very cool is that while Dianne made her speech I moved to far end the stage ..... and as she walked off I managed to PISS off this reporter from KTVU (Ch 2 in SF). I held my hand out to Dianne and said "I'm so proud of you, Dianne!" .... she held both my hands and kissed my on the cheek and walked away having at the cameras. The guy from Ch 2 was PISSED. He stomped off cussing .... GODDAMN MOTHER FUCK SHIT!!! I walked passed to him and said ..."Honey, us gays know how to get the attention of a queen!" snap!

I think it's cool how he's stayed active, being a Mayor and now - as you inform us - running for Attorney General.

He got that "Governor Moonbeam" label attached to him at one point, but from all accounts he's a hell of a guy, if a historical iconoclast.
