my life changed today
my mom fell, and she couldn't get up. I was walking my nephew (and my sister's dog), and when I got back, I found her on the floor.

She is okay, but it was scary.

Later, my 5 month old nephew peed on me while I was changing him.

I have to be there for my nephew and my mom. I was planning on being a charles bukowski / hunter thompson style mess my whole life. my life changed today.

1. You got that right, my dear mdmc.......
To change from a charles bukowski/hunter thompson style mess to a responsible person in charge of two other people's lives....

Now THERE you have a giant change!

Good for you for recognizing the need.....and taking up the challenge...

2. Oh, I'm sorry, bud. Is your mom OK?
What did you do? How is she now?

Yup, it's a trip watching our parents get older and having the care-taking roles shift. Good luck. My best good wishes to you.
