My Incredimail program has a "bounce to sender" option that supposedly returns an incoming e-mail to the sender, making it appear that your e-mail address is no good. I use it on the spam that does get through. I almost always get an "unable to deliver e-mail" notice back (from the bounce) in a few minutes.
But does the spammer "get the message" anyway? Seems like I'm getting less spam.

And it bounces the mail; most of the time I don't get one of those messages.
