I need a TaTToo for cosmetic reasons any ideas

Almost 2 decades ago i was in a car wreck..wasn't wearing my seatbelt and my body weight broke both bones on my right leg.
After all is said and done i have this nasty spot..So i figure why not get a tattoo over it.
I was thinking of a shark any ideas after looking at my ugly leg :)

1. I see Poseidon, holding his little fork thingy
Standing on a rock outcropping, over the ocean. Maybe some cool birds above.

I like it... kinda a Rorschach of yer leg. :)

6. To take that idea a different way

The lower part could be the breaking waves over rocks, and the three points above could be the Trident of Poseidon, and him in between

2. It's probably uglier to you more than anyone else. But it's a
decision only you can make. I'm not high on tatoos, but if you decide to do it, make sure you have done all the talking and thinking. Good Luck on your decision.

4. Make sure you go to a very good artist.
Ask to see their portfolio and see if you like their work. Ask them if they've ever done cover-up work like that and ask to see pictures of that too. A good artist will proudly let you see whatever you ask for.

I never really cared for tattoos but it hit me one day that it could be a unique option to mask this blemish
And if i get something cool then yea baby

7. Who's your artist?
Years ago I went to Grimm's (I believe they were 38th and Main but not quite sure now). 13 years later and the color is still quite good. I don't even know if they are still around or not.

There is a site for KingPin's in Independence w/ a gallery. http://www.kingpintattooing.net/tattoo-designs/

13. I suggest you go with the shark then
You can always add to it later. When you get it done I hope that you share a few pictures with us. Just remember that you are doing this to make you feel better. As far as I'm concerned your leg looks fine, it appears you are freckled to me.
:D

9. I have
four tattoos that cover four scares I got when I was younger. Until then, every time I got dressed or toweled off after a shower, I would see the scares and remember how I got them. Now, I see two yellow roses, a pink flower, and a white bird. I don't even think about the scares they cover.

14. Ugly?? What ugly?

It's a scar, that's all. It's part of your life story. It adds character...

15. Instead, mix the idea with the encounter
Get a tat that just says "Shark Attack" with an arrow pointing to the actual scarring. Not only will you draw sympathy, but you'll be a hit at parties!

Be lots cheaper, too. I didn't know they could tattoo over scars.
