CJ and Danny are SO cute. After the funeral, CJ's back in her office and Danny walks in, asking when the memorial service is. She gives him shit cuz he's over 2 hours early. He tells her he came early so they could talk. She closes her office door, smiling.
Then they start talking about the previous night and how they didn't talk at all. She asked him if he felt used. He says "you mean, for my body?" and she apologizes and says that she knows they have a lot to talk about, but it was really nice to "not talk at all." He agrees. They plan to "do it again" at his apartment later that night.
FF to the memorial service thing, everyone's just kinda standing around chatting in the White House. Donna comes up to CJ and says that she sublet her apartment to a girl from Treasury, but now she's officially off the campaign payroll, so she's homeless. CJ offers to let her sleep in her guest room. CJ catches Danny's eye and looks apologetic. Donna leaves, he comes over.
CJ says she has something to tell him. He says, "You're a virgin?" She says no. He says, "You have an incureable disease?" Again, no. She tells him they can't see each other tonight cuz Donna's staying at her place. He says, no problem, you're coming over to my place anyway, just let Donna have free run of your apartment. CJ says no, cuz she doesn't know what she would tell Donna and that when she lies her ears turn red. He's all bummed out. CJ says, "It waited for 7 years, it can wait another night."
Meanwhile, Donna is talking to Josh and he realizes that she doesn't have a place to stay, so he tells her to come over to his place. She says she can't because she already asked CJ and she wouldn't know how to tell her she didn't need a place to stay anymore. Josh asks why she didn't just ask him. Donna says she wasn't sure they were there yet. They talk a bit, Donna leaves.
Then comes the fabulous "cock blocked" scene. Josh is sitting there looking dejected. Danny walks over and sits next to him, looking equally bummed out. He turns to Josh and very sarcastically says, "Nice wake."
So there's controversy about whether or not CJ & Danny actually had sex. At first glance, it appears that they did. But if they did, when Danny said "You're a virgin?" one would think CJ would have said something like "You know better" or smirked...not just a flat "no". And also... "It waited 7 years, it can wait another night" makes it sound like they haven't sealed the deal yet. Of course, we all know that they do eventually... ;)
