I'm saying that there's sure as hell no reason to remake the damn thing.

Just like there' sno reason to remake "The Hills Have Eyes," it's nothing special at all, and sure as hell doesn't warrant a remake.

12. Movie remakes are as old as movies...
--and will continue as long as films endure...actually, I think a film like "Poseidon Adventure" is exactly the sort of film they should remake--a cheesy, so-so action flick...remakes are fine, as long as you don't remake a *good* film. If someone did a remake of "Citizen Kane"--you know it would suck, almost by definition...
